Hello I place a new zip file with a boat in the folder, when I start the game I choose it in configuration, how can I have race using my new boat?

Can you say whether you mean a new boat model (eg the Orma multihull) or a new skin for an existing boat model (eg the Acc)

And then say what goes wrong when you try to use it?

What version of Virtual Skipper is it ?

I place a new zip file in C:\Program files\32nd America's Cup\GameData\Skins\Boats\Acc called greenboat.

Then start the game -->configuration--->boats--->acc---> and choose greenboat

What should I do to race with a boat using my skin greenboat?

Version is 5

Launch game & select Solo, Custom Race, Campaigns, Nadeo, VskAC32,Multi, you should see a selection of races. Choose MultiPotoCervo and you will find yourself on the water with your new boat. There will be no opposition to race however, so .....

Either create opposition boats in races by editing the race, via Editors in the menus, (or creating a new race of your own) with computer controlled AI boats. There are some notes on how to do this here http://www.northspace.co.uk/vsk5_notes.htm#AI

Another way to race your boat is to come & join one of the many races online. In these races, you will compete with the boat you selected in the Settings menu.

I hope you wont mind that I move this topic to the Heading 'Hints & Tips' because the '3D Model' heading is for the new boat model designs, rather than skins.
