Hi everyone,
I just tried to setup a local server, but the second machine cannot see it.
I run a LAN 192.168.1.??? over a stupid switch.
My firewall in the server (Zonealarm), allows activities for Virtual Slipper in LAN and Internet as server and client.
After creating a game The server is waiting for sailors to join. On my second machine, (which connects to all other issues in the server without problems) cannot see the server (Not in List of servers).
Is it necessary to buy a second licence for a local game?, or do I misunderstand anything else.
Thanks for your help.

| Close down the Zonealarm service completely - not saying its the problem but it will eliminate it in your triage. |

Hi andynz,
thanks for your answer.
I tried the same in the other direction. I ran the other computer as server, on which only XP without zonealarm or other firewalls is running. Same problem.
Computer 1 connot see the race offered by comp 2.
Any more ideas? But does your answer mean, I don´t need a second licence?
Thanks
