Hi all, I've been playing VSK for about 3 years or more on Windows XP. I've been away and recently upgraded to a Windows 7 so I'm restarting with a new install. This time around I'm not able to read any text on the game menus as it is all replaced with a block of solid rectangles. Is this a well known issue with Windows 7 or is it specific to my copy of the game? I can't find anything related to this on the forum.

I'd really appreciate if I could solve this problem!

There are no problems with Windows 7 which is used by many players including me.

I dont know enough about the game graphics to advise you except to try a new Graphic driver if you haven't donre that,

Did you try to update your graphic card drivers?

Hi again

I have info from a friend who thinks he may have a solution - this worked for him when he had the same problem it seems.

In the game Launcher, select Configure ..

Then select Advanced > Display Tab > Compatibility > AGP Usage

Set AGP Usage to 0%

Let us know how this works please

HalleEFFINGllujah! I'm lucky I checked my forum post as a last resort. I wouldn't have known about this otherwise. I did what you suggested AND IT WORKS!
I can now get back to racing after all this time away.... as soon as I turn in my last university assignment in a week's time.
