What is the correct way to get avatars working in VSK4. I have transferred my VSK3 avatars across, but they don't seem to be visible to other players. They are still in DDS format. Do I need to make them JPG's or something else? _________________

Yeah Andy, I can see them fine, but other people don't seem to be able to see them. I recall reading or hearing something somewhere about jpg's and tga's. I'm just trying to confirm. _________________

Maybe this is related to your skin sharing problems.
When launching VSK4, click configure on the small window.
Then select advanced and the network tab.
Make sure the box "Enable upload" is checked.
If that's not the problem, it may be your firewall that is stopping these things.

Thanks Harald, I know my firewall issues prevented me from hosting races in VSK3, I hope they aren't carrying over into 4! _________________
