Now I have the full VSK4, can I still race online against my buddy who is trying out the demo? _________________ Bailing for Britain |

I don't think so. He probably needs the full version as well.

However, you can still use the demo for the times you want to race against your buddy! _________________ In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is. |

Dam me too.
That is a little silly. People with the full game like myself should be able to race with demo players. I want to convince my mates to play, and buying the full version you should have this capability. |

Yes I agree. Being able to race against the demo players was a nice feature with VSK1, but unfortunately we haven't had it since then. However, you can re-install the demo if you've already deleted it. _________________ In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is. |

U can play in local network with just one cd.....
When vsk is runnin, u can exit the cd and put it on the 2nd computer.
And for play in local network, u dont have to register u with a account online.
Just install vsk on the 2 computer, launch vsk in the first computer, create on race in local area mode, exit the cd, launch vsk in the 2nd computer and join the race in local network.
just one thing, people out ur local area dont be able to join the race but for play with ur kids, its ok.

That is true. However Flat Eric was asking about mixing and matching the demo and retail versions when they are not on the same LAN, and that is not possible (AFAIK). _________________ In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is. |

Is possible to run a Lan over Internet with a simply application like Hamachi the free version offer 14 client of your personal Lan over Internet.
1. Download hamachi
2. run it
3. create an account (an Hamachi IP is assigned)
4. create or joining a network (normally password protected)
5. invite your friends in your Hamachi network
6. run VSK4
7. Join multiplayer > lan
8. you are now able to play
(I have use this when was problem with Nadeo server)
bye
