|
|
I was online hosting some races when changing to the next race my game crashed and an error msg poped up. I don't remember what the error was (kicking myself). I assumed at the time that there may have been some problem with the course that was loading. I loaded up the game again and tried editing the course and resaving it. When I went to connect to the net through multiplayer it crashed to the desktop, and has done so ever since.
Can anyone help, and what is the best email for Nadeo's tech support? _________________

These guys "supportdownload.focus@metaboli.com" are the place to go Benn but your probably gonna need to provide some additional info...
Check your event log for any sign of the crash info...
Click Start | Run and type "eventvwr" in the run window.
Try this...
Create a new profile - in the game click settings | click profile | click add. Then with this profile try connecting to the online game. |

Also, look in the folder you installed VSK into and look for a file named LogCrash_xxxxxxxx.txt and delete it if it exists. This has been known to cure CTD (crash to desktop) issues. Let me know if it works for you. _________________ In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is. |

Deleting the Log_Crash files has worked, thanks Keith, always a relief to find a quick fix. Much appreciated
While I'm here, Andy, what was that other game that was mentioned elsewhere on the forums? Geoff (BSBS) was wanting to see some power boat models in the game (LOL). I mentioned that game to him but couldn't remember the name of it. I'd like to pass it along to him. _________________

Is the "information needed for creating addons" useful at all? _________________

Actually, in this case we are not the place to go. Metaboli is providing only the buy&download service, we are not the game's publisher or developer. We can and will provide support on purchase, download and activation problems (provided our replies do not fall victim to your spam blockers). But all gameplay and multiplayer problems (like bad proxies) should be directed to Focus Game Support at support@virtualskipper-game.com _________________ Regards,
