This problem seems to be related to certain audio drivers (old drivers or not fully DirectX 9 compatible).

Please run 32nd America's Cup, click Configure then Advanced button.
Click Audio tab.
Set Acceleration to SoftwareOnly or uncheck Audio enabled to disable the sound.
Click Ok then Save button.
Run the game.

If you must disable the sound to fix the problem, once the tutorial 6 done, please re-enable the sound.
