Hi

Firstly, could anyone tell me how to get a more solid colour on the sails as against massive alpha?

Secondly, I have tried and tried but cannot get rid of the "cup" logo but cannot see where it is in the layers? I removed anything remotely suggeting it that I saw.

Last but not least, I haven't seen a template for the gib? The Genny, Gennaker and Spin but not the gib?

First efforts below so that you can see the error of my ways:

Many Thanks

You cannot have spaces in the names - replace like this (right click on image, look at properties and see the correct URL format).

It looks like you need to work on the alpha layer in channels. This layer controls the amount of opacity. You sould see the "cup" is a different color. It needs to be the same as the main color not to be seen in the game. If you need more info try this web site (http://northspace.co.uk/skins_making.html) or feel free send me a PM.

The Cup Logo:
If you are using my template (Template Acc MkIII), then I think I may have left the cup logo off the sails RGB layers completely, which would explain why you cant find it.. However it is represented in the alpha layer and if you dont want to see it, tou need to paint over it in the alpha layer in the same shade of grey as the beckground.

Solid Sails:
Easy to solve this. Just increase the lightness of the background until you are happy. Be aware that other players will be much less happy, because your sails will blanket their view when you are close to them (eg at the buoys), so online I would hope you could use more transparent sails.

Jib Template:
For the Acc, there is no separate template. The same shape does for both Jib & genoa. This causes some alteration in shape of logos etc between the sails and you just have to put up with this.

Happy skinning
