Hi all skippers!

Here is the VirtualSkipper5 patch pre-launch.

It is used to convert your America's Cup 32 game into VirtualSkipper 5. It is optional and you can still play with both games later (you would need to reinstall) However, when you log into the new VirtualSkipper 5, you will have one year before this account expire. You will still be able to play the game offline or the AC32 version online. To play the new version after, you will have to pay for a new year or maybe go through the free access. This access should be there soon! We have made this new system to help support the game. We really hope to see a lot of new skippers around and it will greatly depends on current players to tell other people around. So, you are welcome to spread the word.

We will communicate this patch to all players next week

downloaded and working well.
already about 12 guys out there, had a nice vor70 race.
seems new polars are implemented in the acc, is that right?
minor bug, when you type on the chat the key you defined for the "ranking" the ranking flashes on the screen each time you press that key. I used R and if I say thanks for race, two nice flashes.

Can anyone post a quick look at the format of the results text file?

New patch wouldn't work for me after installation. When I started up the game it went to the old version. Tried to reinstall update but it said I had already done it and wouldn't reinstall.
To get the patch to work I had to uninstall VSK5 and reinstall it, then install the patch.

From what I could see last night we can't mix both.

I was using the AC32 with about 20 servers, 250 players. Then installed the patch and went into the new VSK5 where I could see only 3 servers and about 12 guys.
I guess more people will join in as they find out about the patch and install it.

With the new patch all the custom boats are available.

is it possible to reinstall vsk32ac, in another directory, to patch it, so you have vsk32 & vsk5online on your hd and then can swap between games without having to deinstall, reinstall repatch each time you want to see where your friends are?
