|

I installed "32 Americas Cup" on my new PC, Windows 7 64 Bit. It runs fine, but the instrument panel and the map are out of focus. E.g. it is not possible to read the compass course.
Can somebody help ?
Thanks.

Hi,
different possiblities
- the instruments are switsched of completely (with i.e. the comma on the numeric keypad), no items are visible (no chat , no ISAF Panel , noting - nly Boats racing)
- the instruments are hided (the most simple solution), there are some points at the bottom of the screen, where you can 'switch' them on.
- or finally a system problem, but I never heared of one like this....
Hope it helps,
Liese

Hi
If the Instruments are not visable at all, then the comments from Liese will help.
If they are visable but out of focus, then there are no game controls that will fix this specifically. You can try different graphic settings in the launcher config menus but really with a good PC, this should not be necessary.
Maybe there is a problem with the game files in your PC or with your graphics setup. To check the files, you can download an installer for the original Nadeo Instruments at the link below. Also there is an installer for alternative instruments, which you might like to try - although I think if the original instruments remain de-focussed, then the alternative ones will be too.
I know of one player who finds all the spinnakers are out of focus - but we have not solved his problem either!

Hi
I get this problem from time to time. Try running VSK in window mode via the configure screen before the game launches ( or not window mode if are doing it already).
For me it happens when I switch during the game from window mode to full screen (rather than the configure screen before the start)

Hi guys
Thanks for your hints. I found the solution:
- De-Installed the software
- Installed it.
--> Error-Message: "Could not retreive your grafic device performance"
So I knew, that VSK simply did not recognise my grafic card (a good one).
- When starting the application --> Button "Konfiguration"
- Then "erweitert"
- then "kompatibilität"
- then "AGP-Nutzung" up to 100% (was 0%)
That's the solution. |

It's great you have solved it Tranquilo and many thanks for letting us know what did it!
I have never explored AGP Usage - another piece of info to get to know. _________________ Sandy
