Hello,
We finally did it! We improved the log information at the end of the race.
Thank you for your patience,
Nadeo
Change-log :
- Log file generated at the end of each race, by the server, has been converted to XML format, so its name is Result.xml instead of Result.csv
- The new log file includes some additional informations like boat model, track informations, rules informations and race settings
Description of the new XML log file :
- The root tag is named <race>
It contains 7 child tags : <log_author>, <host>, <startdate>, <enddate>, <map>, <settings> and <results>.
- <log_author> indicates the login of the author of the log file
- <host> indicates the login of the host of this race
- <startdate> and <enddate> tags describe the date in UTC time of respectively the start and the end of the race.
- <map> tag contains 6 child tags : <name>, <file>, <uid>, <author>, <envir> and <length>.
- <settings> tag contains 7 child tags <boat>, <rules>, <gamemode>, <startdaytime>, <tide>, <meteo>, <wind>.
- <boat> tag indicates the boat model used during the race.
- <rules> tag contains 3 child tags <racemode>, <rulesmode>, <startdelay>.
- <racemode> tag indicates which type of race has been raced between 'Fleet Race', 'Match Race' and 'Team Race'.
- <rulesmode> tag indicates which rules mode has been used between 'None', 'Auto' or 'Manual' ('Auto' or 'Manual' indicating complete rules used).
- <startdelay> tag indicates the duration of the pre-start period : 'Immediate', '1 min', '3 min', '5 min' or '8 min'.
- <gamemode> tag indicates the game mode used during the race : 'Arcade', 'Tactical' or 'Simulation'.
- <startdaytime> tag indicates the virtual time of the race start.
- <tide> tag indicates the tide period corresponding to the start of the race : 'Low', 'Flood', 'High' or 'Ebb'.
- <meteo> tag indicates the meteo setting of the race : 'Sunny', 'Cloudy', 'Rainy' or 'Stormy'.
- <wind> tag indicates the wind settings. It contains 3 child tags : <dir>, <strength> and <shift>.
- <dir> tag indicates the prevailing wind direction.
- <strength> tag indicates the force of wind.
- <shift> tag indicates the wind-shift setting : <None>, <Stable>, <Oscillating>, <Shifty> or <Unstable>.
- <results> tag contains one <player> tag block for each player involved in the race.
Each <player> tag contains 4 child tags : <rank>, <login>, <nickname><time> and <team>.
- <rank>, <login> and <nickname> tags indicates respectively the final rank, the login and the nickname of the player
- <time> tag indicates the race time in milliseconds of this player or 'DNC', 'DNS' or 'DNF' if the player respectively does not compete, does not start or does not finish.
<team> indicates in which team the player has raced

Hi Alex,
The dll is inthe main VSK folder within program files. Place the exe in there and it finds it.
I can run it but it does, however, tell me that my version is not valid? I have VSK5 paid version. _________________ Cheers,

Hi
I am presuming that this is only valid for "VSK5Online" as that is also the name of the downloaded exe. _________________ Cheers,

Thanks Keith worked fine But i am wondering that it will only be updated for the non payed version
But you can download and install the online version as well, then you can activate your old profile, thats the way i did since 1 year ago _________________ Cheers and see you,

Hi Alex
Yes, I could download the online version but, being awkward, I feel that as I took the trouble to purchase the product then the product should do the job.
They may well be working on an update and will faithfully hit the required button to see if it hatches. _________________ Cheers,

Thank you Hylis, my faith in you has not been misplaced! Will not load from the desk-top icon however. No major problem as i can just drop the app itself there and run direct, just thought you would like to know. _________________ Cheers,
