I cant really use a site and enter the results manually.

My setup is catching the event of a file creation in the Result folder.
Then it processes the file - using a ELO.Net library I've made and based on this result it generates a html page.

I tried making the site using ASP.Net and a SQL Express database - but it would quickly become too slow.
Also - people want the same data - so it's easier to create a new page - every time a race is over. Rather than go and get the data everytime someone does a request to my site.

Another advantage is that I do not need to give the IIS user execute rights - but only read rights. It's a lot safer.

For now I'm using the CSV files - and then I use the "kick all users" every time 15 minutes has past. It seems to work alrightish Sourire Except for one lilttle thing I cant change...

Glad you like my post - im not sure if I like it...

I hope noone uses this less obvious - I am definitely more away of "clock shift detected" now...

Regards,
OutSpan

PLEASE, - to the top topic!

Describe that it was an update to newer VSK-xml version - and tell the latest date of update.
Do also tell, that the first version gives corrupt .xml character inside the Race and boat name tags.

I still receiving corrupt .xml-file for the World Ranking database - so the bad one is still out there...
